ControlNet与ProfibusDP总线的性能比较

摘要:ControlNet和ProfibusDP是两种应用于工业控制级的现场总线。参照开放式系统互连(OSI)网络参考模型,将ControlNet和ProfibusDP这两种现场总线分为物理传输层、数据链路层及上层协议,并进行了横向比较:在物理传输层上分析比较了两者的传输介质与传输速率;在数据链路层上分析比较了两者的MAC技术;而在上层协议中分析比较了ControlNet的CIP协议,ProfibusDP用户层协议。最后,就两种总线的通信模式、网络性能进行了讨论。通过全面地研究,总结出了两种总线各自的优缺点,在工业控制领域中,有助于合理选择总线。

Abstract: Both ControlNet and ProfibusDP are fieldbus, which are applied in the industrial control class. In virtue of open system interconnection (OSI) network model, ControlNet and ProfibusDP were separated into physics transmission layer, data link layer and superstratum protocol, and were compared from landscape orientation. In the physics transmission layer, transmission medium and transmission speed were analyzed and compared. In the data link layer, MAC technology was analyzed and compared. And in the superstratum protocol, CIP protocol of ControlNet was analyzed and compared, user layer protocol of ProfibusDP was analyzed and compared. In the end, communication pattern and network performance of both buses were analyzed and compared. Analyzing and comparing both buses generally, merits and defects of both buses were gotten, and there were in favor of choosing bus reasonably, in the industrial control field.
