基于turbo码的对称式分布式信源编码研究

摘要:分布式信源编码(DSC)能有效降低编码器复杂度,特别适合传感器网络等编码端资源受限的场合。为发挥这一优势,首先介绍了分布式信源编码理论及turbo码编码、解码原理,通过对传统turbo编码器、解码器的修改和信道置信度的调整,设计了基于turbo码的分布式信源编码方案。在此基础上进一步考虑该方案的不对称性,设计了一种基于turbo码的对称分布式信源编码方案,并结合仿真研究了参数变化对编码性能的影响。仿真结果表明,该对称编码方案在解决不对称性的同时保证了良好的编码性能。

Symmetric distributed source coding based on turbo codes

Abstract: Due to much lower complexity of distributed source coding(DSC), DSC technology is especially suitable to situations with resourcelimited encoders, such as sensor networks. Aiming for this advantage, the principle and theory of distributed source coding and turbo were introduced firstly, and then a process of distributed source coding based on turbo was designed and realized by modifying encoder and decoder of turbo and adjusting the confidence degree of communication channel. Moreover, considering the asymmetric characteristic of this process, a new symmetric distributed source coding scheme based on turbo was introduced. The relationship between coding performances and parameters was studied. Simulation results indicate that the symmetric scheme not only solves the asymmetric characteristic, but also has nice coding performances.
